Be honest with yourself,  do you feel you are or can be a responsible rider?  If the answer is yes, get the S4R you'll never regret your decision.   $9,220 financed for three years with NO interest is a good deal.  I had the same fear moving up from a 695 to a S4R w/DP and slip ons., but that quickly vanished and was replaced by a big grin .    On the other hand if you feel you wont be able to control yourself then walk away.  If you are stupid and wack the throttle in first gear it will easily backflip. It will also easily lift and exceed any speed limit in 2nd gear. Not trying to scare you but it is a machine to be respected for its power and speed.   If you do decide to move on it concider adding the DP ECU, it eliminates all the problems associated with closed loop emission control and add additional power and sounds really good, er.. BAD.
