Hey there Martin
I'm assuming you are coming up the highway through Sutherland , I will meet you at the little group of shops immediately before Tom Uglys Bridge at Sylvania at 7 if you like.

Jukie there is a lake near Oberon that we can go for a dip in  Wink

Don't know about that, is it the one off the 'sea-sick' road?

No the water at the end of the sea sick road was lake Lyell near Lithgow , there is a bigger body of water near Oberon that I went to with the family when I was little. My older brother used to sail VJ's I think it was. I recall there being a big mud bog and an all in mud fight...pretty cool when you are 5.  waytogo

Subject to weather keen for a ride, but it sounds like a long day, so will bale at Bathurst (don't have access to your virgins, Trev).

Andy, do you still want to meet @ Varbys? What time 'cause it won't take too long to get from Tom Uglys if you're meeting Martin @ 7am?

Anyone else from the south interested?

Hmm... Trying to stay positive here but what happens in these situations?

Does someone make a call later in the week as to whether the ride is on or off?

We've got folks located all over greater Sydney (Nth, Sth East and West) that sync up via txt messages on the morning before we leave (nothing hotter than an SMS from Matty at 6:00am ish  Cool). We provide local forecasts and check the BOM and then a call is made and if it's off it will get posted here or people sync via SMS. It generally tends to work fairly well.  If it's clearly wet it's generally off for most.

Besides, It's Not Going To Rain on Saturday. Smiley

Hey Andy. Have to work on Saturday now. :-( Won't be able to join you. I'm afraid. Next time!

My wife and i are keen to join on in this one providing the weather isn't to bad.

We may only go partway on the journey as if it's sunny i want to take the new car out for a burn!

So count us in - Glen (Ducati S4R) & Hope (Aprilia RS125 Lorenzo)
