according to the latest report, the driver of the truck was not the insured so the insurance company is trying to say they are not going to pay.  don't quote me on this but it looks like claims will have to be made on their own bike insurance and then the respective company will pursue the idiots in the cars.

The truck was liable for making an unsafe turn, & the car seems liable for traveling at an unsafe speed. Those are the only people who would have any liability...

The driver of the truck is not insured - the truck is insured - something to do with where the driver resides and whether he was  authorized to be driving the truck - I'm letting my insurance company sort it out - considering the policy expired the day after the accident they are most likely looking for any way out - by the way its Untied Auto - stay away from them!

Wow that was close on the insurance expiration. Hopefully you'll get your moneys worth out of that policy without too much more hassle. So enough of the insurance crap. Lets talk about what you'll be replacing the FJR with.   Grin  Any plan yet?
