Monster 620 Forks

Does anyone know the outer diameter of S2R 800 and 1000 forks? Would it be impractical to try and put some s2r 1000 forks in an s2r 800 or bore out the tripples on a 620/695?

I believe all Monster forks are interchangeable without modification to the triples.  The question is, if you are going to all the trouble of changing, would SS forks (or GSXR forks...) better suit you?
