I love it almost as much as the twisties!

I jumped my bike for the first time going up Pine at like Taylor or Jones.  It was awesome, both wheel off of the ground...

that is all

Congrats! applause

I hit a big bump while test riding the 1198S and my boys got air born, but landed on the tank. The vision of broken egg yolks immediately came to mind.  Embarrassed

Every once in a while Tigre and I will do a "publicity ride."  Basically, it involves riding around the city at a million miles and hour, doing wheelies, reving pointlessly and generally wreaking havoc.  It's pretty fun.   waytogo

Park Presidio & Fulton. Drive up on the sidewalk and you will find the curb is like 3 feet high. Jump back down onto the street. Its fun..

I may love city riding even more than the twisties. I get my adrenaline going as much, that is for sure. I live at Greenwich and Jones, and one of my favorite things is blasting down Jones up and over Russian Hill and Nob Hill at 7 am. I got a daily fix of that for quite some time, but now it is far too seldom.  Cry

Try Pine and Grant - Tourists look at you funny when you jump across China Town, plus there's a follow up @ mason if traffic gets in the way  Grin

Try Turk and Baker, westbound (uphill). There wasn't a traffic light at that intersection until recently but if you time the lights right, the wheelies--according to DQ--kick ass.

Great video! I don't know why stuff like that makes me laugh like a little child, but it does.

BTW, I almost plastered a pedestrian at Pine & Grant many years ago. I was fully airborne and didn't see the jaywalker behind the crest of the hill. The look of terror on his face about equalled mine (how ya gonna stop if you're up in the air?), but fortunately he scurried off before becoming one with the bike. Phew!
