Need help: CW tail chop on '99 M900

Just got a tail chop kit that is supposed to work on all monsters from '99-'07, but the brackets for the signals won't work because the seat latch is in the way.  From the pics I've seen, it looks like the frame and seat latch is different than my bike.   The only way I can get the signals mounted is if I mount the brackets UNDER the frame, but then the signals are a lot lower than I would like.  I wanted the signals to tuck up under the seat cowl like all the other tail chops I've seen. 

If anyone has any pics/tips on how to make this work, I'll buy you a beer.

Did you relocated your latch cable?  You usually have to do that when you chop the tail.  I have signals integrated into my tail light so I didnt have to worry about side signals.

As mentioned, take a pic or two and we can try to help.

Here are a few pics of the latch, cable and signal bracket.  The biggest problem I have is how to reattach the cable with the signal bracket tight against the latch.

that's how they are shown in the instructions so the signals are level with the tail lamp, but the pics that came with the instructions show a newer bike with the other latch.

drill new holes that are higher up maybe?  i'll take pics of what i did and post em tomorrow.. i think i spent 8 dollars and a six pack.  your latch is completely different then mine (2000 750).  maybe a new old latch will fix your clearance issue.

If I change the latch, then I'd probably have to get a matching seat too.  That would probably be the most expensive Monster tail chop ever.  I might just end up making some new brackets to get the signals to fit.
