So, it's official.....Casey is out for the next two months trying to recover from whatever ails him. Kallio up to the factory team and Fabrizio to Kallio's seat at Pramac.
Thoughts?

Lorenzo could either ride alongside Stoner next season, or replace him should the unthinkable happen and the Australian not be fit enough for the start of next season.
yikes!!! hayden has to be pissing his pants....
or what about stoner, i think he just needs to rest up and be good to go again....

i mean i would like to see Lorenzo ride ducati,
i think for his personality it would be perfect...
Lorenzo his use to pushing his limit's to see what he can do, crashing or not! and with this
bucking bronco
as they call it, i wonder if he ride it like he stole it [moto]
stoner is a talented rider as well and this just cant be the end of his career
and with 2 other guys moving up from 250...
next season will sure be interesting

Ducati need someone who can replace Stoner if he doesn't come back, and provide development for the bike if Stoner does come back, but is not fully fit. Lorenzo has a history of doing well on ill-handling machines, and his results showed that he is not afraid to go in search of a bike's limits, and can learn to back off once he reaches them. As a small factory with a very large sponsor, Ducati need to be on the podium as often as possible, to justify the amount of money Philip Morris puts into the Ducati MotoGP program
