Fuel line quick disconnects on fuel-injected bikes?

Anyone tried this? I've seen quick disconnects that look like a good idea, but they all mention carb'ed bikes, and I'm not sure if they'd hold up on a fuel-injected bike.

which disconnects are you referring to, if they are rated at FI pressures they would be fine ...

Just looking into it right now, but I'm looking for a disconnect to allow the tank to be removed more easily, basically.

i have these on my bike (S2R1K), and they work great.
with one exception. the o-ring tears really easy. my solution is to always have a few spare on hand (available almost anywhere)
oh, and mine are plain white...

Herm where did you get those? Do S2R1Ks have the big round fuel pump flange assembly under the tank or is it more the S4R/S4RS style? I'd like to get some of those if they made them out of metal.

Quick disconnects came on many of the 748/916/996/998 Superbikes from the factory. I know the base-model 748 didn't, but that was a cost-savings thing. Quick disconnects should work fine on any of the other bikes, also.

I have the chrome-plated brass quick disconnects from omega.com
Do a search, I listed the part numbers for someone the other day.
Here ya go:
Here are the part numbers and prices for the chrome-plated brass couplings:
FT-LCD170-05: $18
FT-LCD220-05: $11.15
They also sell plastic ones which are less expensive.
Omega is a great company from whom to order...fast shipping and great customer service.

FYI, the s2r1k has the round flange. also, in theory, they come with quick disconnects..........but i could never figure out if that was true or not. so i installed the ones i posted.
picked them up from Lockhart Phillips a while back. i think the brass ones mentioned above would be a better deal.

They are actually made for pressurized hydraulic fluid lines and high pressure soda machine systems and such. They work fine for FI but make sure you get the positive shut-off "valved" type or you could get a blast of pressurized gas when you remove them.
I just got some Colder Products QDs from FBF, but they're basically the same thing as the Omega ones, chrome plated brass.
As for the O-rings, a tiny bit of silicone lube and extreme care when making the connection helps a lot. IME, they get nicked when you try to make the connection when they are not perfectly lined up.
