Was thinking about a ride that would accomodate some more easties in our rides, since you all always have to ride all the way over to the west side just to start the ride.  I was thinking we start at AMS-D head south and loop around Midlothian and up 157 to 917 going past AMS-A (awesome roads!) then north into Fort Worth passing Eurosport and ending for a late lunch at the new Boomer Jack's in Bedford.

Sounds great Tommy! I liked the ride we did a long time ago when we met Chris at a Loves (?) in Midlothian. Can't remember the route but your idea sounds good and a great compromise. You could have the meet up spot closer to the middle to be more fair for all. waytogo

157 from Venus north is an excellent road.  Looks to be about 100 miles of road from AMS-D to Boomer Jacks.  Anyway, I'm going to continue to post rides every other weekend (non kid weekend) so, if anyone has a ride they want to do, post up.  It's riding season! It doesn't matter what direction we go in, or where we start, as long as we get more rides posted....

If I'm not an outcast by now I would love to join this ride. Any idea when ?

I am also looking to set up the track challenge 999 vs Busa vs R1 ..... winner take all.
What do you think, maybe each of us put up like $500 with the best bike taking the prize.

"ALL" are always welcome on our rides
And if we do the track deal, I'm humble enough to lose $100 but not $500. Sorry I gots 4 kids. Oh, and I might have to ride my slower 900 (70ish hp) if the r1 is sold.  Cool?

That road does rock.  Nice twisties and good pace... although I've also had my two worst puckering moments on that road as well.  Watch for semi-trucks turning suddenly across the road and watch for "white dust" from rock roads in one or two of the long fast sweepers.  I went into a mean drift doing 90 or so one time.  Not fun.
