Anyone know the price of a Monster 1100 and the 1100S in Au? (I'm taking a punt with the AU$ prices on the M1100S and the M1100)

Gimme a white Steet Fighter S with pipes upswept under the seats. I reckon you need do something with the Clutch and Front Brake reservoirs as well. And Ducati need to have a serious chat to the guy that designed the mirrors (pretty sure they are the same as the Monster 696/1100).

What's the 1198/s coming in at.
I think the S is close to $40k on the road and stocker is $34-ish.
So the SF might likely come in at $28-$29k stocker and $34-ish for the S.
Bring that the M1100s is $24k on the road, NFI logic would want decent separation between Monster and naked 1098.

Prices for 1198 and 1198S RRPin Au and the US are as follows:

The newer Ducs seem to have higher Magic Numbers (probably an exchange rate thang). But even if you bump the Streetfighter and the Strettfighter S up by a $1000, they still seem reasonable (24k and 30K respectively).  I can't see the SFS being more expensive than the 1198S.


Either way I can't afford one unless I sell my soul (again).

I got my S4R T for $20k ride away. I thought the price was great in comparison to the Jap offerings of which the CB1000 was $22k ride away 

If the SF comes in at $24k ride away i'll buy one and give the S4 to my wife.

Mattyvas - There seems to be no shortage of interest in Ducati's. The dealer i got mine from has been absolutely jam packed on the weekends. Meanwhile my old flame MV Agusta is performing appallingly.

I have been looking at buying a 1098 to go with the S4R that I currently have but maybe the Street Fighter is the way to go.  With the price of a 1098 second hand still being in the $20ks I might just look at a new Street Fighter.  When do you reckon they might be available in Australia?
