SFPD Pedestrian Crossing Trap: Sloat & Everglade

BikerGoddess just called to warn us all that the SFPD is nailing motorists for not yielding to pedestrians in the area of Sloat & Everglade in the Sunset, near the Petco & Lucky shopping center. Be careful in the area and yield to pedestrians.

There's a cop who patrols the crosswalk at the intersection just outside my office. He nails people a lot! Whenever I see him I make sure to come right up to the line and stop
hard
. If I had any skills it would be stoppie, but I don't. I stomp both feet down, wait a few seconds and then take off again.
I keep waiting for him to stop me for "riding like a smartass."

If riding like a smartass was a crime, you'd be in for life!

...and this coming from the guy who passes on the inside on Highway 1 on a scooter with a passenger leading the slow group ride.
Nice try.

No. You must have him confused with someone else.

I believe it involved a stoppie, wheelie, burn-out and a possible high-side or some combination of all the aforementioned acts.
