Ya know, this is the perfect thread to point that out because it exemplifies perspective. People only take offense to the word retard because they perceive it as something bad. When I was a kid retard would the go-to insult word. That and gay. The last time I heard the word retard was in reference to building frequencies and that's still the first thing that comes to mind usually nowadays.  [roll] In relation to Jobu's signature, my first thought was that it was eyes.  :P I guess I'm not as dirty minded as I thought.  [cheeky]

Just think of the repercussions.  Mechanics will never be able to "retard" ignition timing, only advance it.  This will undoubtedly lead to severely damaged engines due to excessive detonation.
