Excuse me Sir, your bike is smokin.

Just want to run something by everyone to gauge if there’s any interest.

Each June the Blue Knights mc/ club holds an event called Gooch’s garlic run. This year it's being held on the 18th.

It a HUGE escorted group ride that leaves from Kosco Harley Davidson (I think) and heads into little Italy via the Holland Tunnel.

Considering that were all pasta bike people, I thought it might be cool to get a few of us together and do the ride, then go to a great Italian restaurant down there. I know Babbo is just outside the tunnel and I can tell you the food there is usually top notch. I might even be able to call ahead and let them know a group of us are coming to see if they’ll spoil us a bit.

I know quite a few of you have objections to doing large group rides. That is why I want to get a smaller group of Duc people together to insulate us from the other riders we don’t know, and might not be able to trust.

If anyone might be interested in getting together for a ride and some foodie indulgence, post up and let me know. If there’s some real interest I’ll get in touch with everyone who posts up and put the whole thing together.

I think it left from the rockaway mall last year, with the number of bikes that participate I would imagine it should still be leaving from there this year as I dont think Kosco's lot is that big. I would be interested in going. By the 18th do you mean this sunday though?

I'm down for a group ride/grub!  My bike's parked downtown so if the venue is Little Italy, I'll just catch the subway...

Its held on June 18th, and I haven't looke din to all the particulars yet as to what time and how much and where it leaves from.

I just want to try to gauge other riders intrest in particapating before I go any furthur.

I know some people have issues with alrge group rides, but I want to see if anyone is interested in joining me for the ride and a great meal afterward.

Hhmm, food AND riding? Sounds like a GCR to me Grin but you can count me out of this one, to me, there's nothing worse than getting caught behind a bunch of cruiser Harley types whilst out riding. And to do it on purpose knowing my bike's only happy above 7k rpm's while the radiators slow roast me at 215°... not my idea of a good time.

Why do roaches always die on their back?

That because the survivors flip them over to steal their sneakers and wallets.
