State Farm is about $100 less for me ( but I'm a lot older and so is my bike) -

So in my experience - I've shopped around a bit - that isn't such a bad number

Desmosedici - it's the new Paso (except the bodywork doesn't fit as well)

Funny, I just did my insurance a couple weeks ago. Bike and truck both insured w/ AAA
$553 for the bike @ AAA

I'm 25, the bike is a '95 m900 and I've been riding for 5 years. I think I also got my parent's long time member discount even though I'm on my own tab now.
I've got...
Liability
Bodily Injury, $250k/person
Property Damage $100k total
Medical
Medical Payments $5k/person
My auto
Comprehensive w/ $500 deductible
Collision w/ $500 deductible
Uninsured Motorist
Bodily Injury $100k/person
Uninsured & Underinsured Vehicles, Deductible Waiver

This is my first ever motorcycle insurance I am relatively new... (2006 Monster 620)
Went thru Laidlaw via Harley Davidson = Progressive (not sure how that works)

$573/yr

Liability
Comprehensive
Bike fully insured w/ $3000 for equipment and custom parts
Medical
Medical Payments $10k/person
Bodily Injury up to $300k for two people
Uninsured & Underinsured Motorist, Deductible Waiver

All I know, it was way better than what Geico wanted, they charged a lot more for less coverage. They wanted $1100 for a third of the coverage.

foremost with the m696 $310 a year
foremost with the m1100 $600 a year
geico and progressive were 300 to 400 more on the 696
with very good coverage.
