Ms Tek,

If you're not a fan of the colour of your bike I thought I'd show you the best Tangerine S2R800
I've ever seen, it belongs to one of our Oz Monsters in Sydney.
It has had just about everything you could think of done to it.

Good luck with modding your new toy.

I'm still not entirely clear what you dont like about the oe exhaust on your bike, however, if you replace the cat with a link pipe it will not only clean up the look of the bike but make the noise of the oe cans quite raspy though not offensively loud, the cat actually holds back as much exhaust noise as the oe endcans do. If this is a consideration in a built up area then its a relatively cheap option.
This will then mean you can add aftermarket cans if you wish, I opted to core my own, these were then rebuilt with perforated tubing and packing like most race cans and then painted black. This set is pretty loud, though I've recently refitted a standard set as the MOT test for bikes over three years old here in the UK can be tricky if the tester think your exhausts are a problem.

I like the shape of the oe cans and to my eye almost none of the aftermarket ones look as elegant, with the sole exception of these

I have an '07 S2R 800 and I just changed the mirrors.  You'd be surprised how much it changes the look of the bike.  I went with CRG Hindsight LS mirrors.  Simple to install.  Not cheap, but well worth it in my opinion.

Okay... Arrows vs. the Termis?

I think I am going to blow some money next month and just get the exhaust taken care of.
