Compatible Stock Triples (stayed with the origional and got my clipons mounted)

I have a 2000 monster 750 with the stock square shaped triple. My new clip on risers (swatts) will not clear the bolts the stock triple
so I am wondering if any other models will fit. So far it seems that anything after 2002 will not, but i could be wrong. Can you guys shed some light on this for me?
i stole this pic out of another forum, but for reference, my triple is the one on the bottom. the topic i stole this pic from tried to upgrade the triple for a 2002 newer model and the center hole would not line up as well as the newer triple having a larger diameter for the center nut.

The ST based frame top triple is not interchangeable with the 851 based frame top triple.

Correct, all 2002 and newer plus the '01 S4.

Some have different offsets though, and won't work with the top bit only.
What do you mean the new risers won't clear the bolts on the stock triple? Pics please

i finally got it all together without upgrading the triple trees. i had a kid at school who is in precision machining make me a block with two through holes to act as a spacer between the clipon and the riser. even with the spacer, the clipon risers (2.5) barely clear the triple. i had to swap out the 45 mm bolts from the top triple and replace with 35 mm bolts (making the bolt flush with the bolt hole) so the risers would fit. i then used the 45mm bolts to bolt up my clipons all together. the spacer allowed the riser to clear the extra hunk of metal in front of the fork. i had to adjust my steering stops so i didn't bash up my frame with the shiny new clipon bolts. i think im going to flip some things around and see if i can't get the bolts on the back side of the clip on to be more off to the sides opposed to straight on. i also needed to move the front blinkers down on the bracket about a quarter of an inch. the whole setup makes the bike feel completely different. you can see how little of the stock fork is above the top triple so i am driving the bike with caution seeing how it reacts. so far so good. turn in is much smoother and feels more solid with my hands closer in towards the bike. my weight feels different on the bike too. the bike feels smaller for some reason. my hands are much lighter on the bars now. overall i wish i went with the apex clipons initially; they would have saved me a month of time and $40 but with a little more reach, then again i might have had to lower my headlight and gauges to makes those work. oh well, i took some pics and had a
to celebrate.

I apologize in advance for the threadjack, but... where did you get that handlebar mount plate I see in your pic? Thanks.

Thanks! It's way nicer looking than the double-clamp arrangement on my M800 - anyone know if the pre-2003 clamps will fit the post-2003 Monsters? I want one.

Anyone know if the whole triple trees and stems from the 02+ bikes can be swqpped onto the 01 monster frames? I want to swap to the new style upper on my older frame if the whole thing will swap over.
