Hi Guys,

I'm a new rider, and new Ducati owner. Just bought my first bike... a 2002 620 Dark... I am super stoked on it, and am having an awesome time riding it around town.

However, aside from riding it, I don't really know much about my new toy... I need to learn more about this bike before I start investing in fixing it up.

Really, I don't know very much about bikes in general and was wondering if any of you Ducati Jedi would want to get together some time for a beer and a chat.

I know the bike needs a little bit of work, and I want to start on some minor repairs and basic mods. I'm looking for some advice, tips, info on tools & mods & parts & where to buy... and really whatever else you care to share.

I had hoped to make it to the Ducati Ride tomorrow morning, but found out I have to be at work. So, I'm hoping this post will help me meet some of you before the next one!

I'm in Downtown Honolulu... Nuuanu area.

Hope to hear back from some of you soon!
Aloha,
Justin

Welcome aboard Justin!  Beers, chat, fixin', modifyin' ---- no problemo.  Oh yeah, once in a while we ride these things too.  See you around sometime. Too bad you can't make the ride.

No modification goes unpunished. Memento mori.  Good people drink good beer.  Things happen pretty fast at high speeds.

It's all up to your will level, your thrill level and your skill level.  Everything else is just fluff.

first rule about desmotropic: FNG buys the beer.

I am also happy to see another chick bike in the mix  Wink  fast bikes are for suckers!

I'm sure we'll be able to rustle up a meeting of the usuals. well, sans ben, 'til he gets back.

Hey Justin,

I'll split the beer tab with you, since technically I'm still the FNG too.  chug I'm not even on the island yet, but I'm looking at houses in the Ewa area as of right now. It'll take until the middle of August for Serenity to get to the Island with the rest of my household goods, i think. We'll go riding then. [moto] Catch you on the flip side bruddah.

Oh god, Trey is going local and speaking pidgeon...

And one thing to keep in mind, getting in and out of Ewa can be a total nightmare during the usual traffic times.
