That will be too cool! I am envisioining the after-hours campfire scene out in the garage right now. I'm sure the Dragon, the Paladin, and Trent will have many horror stories, embarrassing moments, and anecdotes to share. Kyle's bike may have a few of his own since he's being rebuilt from salvage, as well.

Actually.... I haven't even started it. Other than inventorying the damage and what will be needed to replace/ fix it. I'll do it tonight after my daughter goes to bed. It will only take a couple hours, I've made a list of parts but I'll pull what I need off Ducmouses bike for now, then when the order comes in I'll reassemble Trent. The bike is really not damaged that badly from a mechanical or even cosmetic POV. The dealership and insurance takes longer because they are returning it to "like new" condition. My work is a little more practical for a woman who logs the kind of miles she does. Mechanically it will be aces, cosmetically it will be good, but not "like new". Of course her priority is ride time, and you and I both know she hurts when the bike isn't there. There maybe a part or two that will be replaced later down the road to keep it shiny but she'll be able to ride till then. BTW, you're now (besides Bonfy) the first to know that I'll soon be joining the NMMR..... it looks like the wife and I are going to be moving back to Alb. before year end. Start telling PJ's about the awesome guy you know from CO..... I'm thinking of trying to get on in the shop there.

No you'll still be seeing me. My folks and brothers all live up here. Even when living down there I make the trip periodically, and I'll let everybody know so we can meet up. And we always have Ouray baby!

not too many ducs in this one... so you elitists can go ride your shiny new bikes.
haha... just kidding.
here's the newest video from the Old bike Ride collection... OLD BIKE RIDE 7 !
this is an annual ride that starts in the Denver area (golden this year), goes up lookout mountain, then traverses thru Rocky Mountain Nat'l Park, thru Nederland and onto some tasty eatin' at the Millsite Inn in Ward. After that we make our way into Boulder and up Flagstaff Mountain. Following the ride, we head back to the starting point and drink some beers!
Best thing about the ride... ALL VINTAGE... if you like old Laverdas and Beemers, guzzis and nortons, or 1920-something Excelsior Hendersons or timeless classics like the Honda CB bikes... you'll dig this video...
I was atop my trusty little 'baby' 73 Honda CB350F cafe... please enjoy.
hit the full screen arrows next to the volume adjustment to watch the un-tiny version

Heffay, sorry for the delayed response, I didn't really mean " A" scene, but the whole "scene" in general... altho' some scene's were better than others
Thanks for the link, I'm in the build process right now, reassembling engine w/ 10.25 Wisco, 1045cc kit, welded crank,APE valvetrain, ect. I will post pictures soon, looking at body part options, fairing ,solo seat, ect. Have any sources ?? I knew a couple 20yrs ago, starting the search again, Thnx.

yes, we're taking over your ducati forum w/ vintage talk.
but hey... at least i'm keeping your thread alive.
with PIX !
i have a viper fairing i might be willing to part with. let me think about it... offer me a price and i'll think about it harder.
here it is on my cb350f...
... it could use some refurbishing but dad knows of someone that does some pretty outstanding buffing work... ask smitch, he may know that same guy (he came to the ducati shop occasionally).
as far as solo seat... i prefer to butcher stock seats that need help anyway.
here's what i did for my cb400f race project that i'm building at present...
... and of course you saw the solo seat on my cb350f which also utilizes the stock seat pan and foam which has been cut down and reupholstered.
let me know if you need anything else... i've got some decent vintage hookups.
