I think it's b/c the
have been doing a better job of preventing people from getting flammable shit into the crowd.
In 93 the fires were effing
huge.
In 05 they were significantly smaller.
This year it was mostly t-shirts and newspaper in the fires.
The kids made up for it in quantity though. I knew it seemed like there were fires everywhere, but I was still amazed when I heard that one of the news choppers counted 24 fires.
