Well, I've shot off an Email to the Importer, stating my case for not necessarily a replacement, but at least assistance in fixing the problem considering the bike is only 28,000k old and its a substantial failure.
Particularly in view that it appears that some people have had their instruments replaced under warranty for just this sort of problem.
Now to see what their attitude is??
