My $85.00 trip to the MOMA in the cage:

It was raining, I was with a friend so I drove.

I went out to feed the meter, the thing you do more than drive or do what you were going there to do. Worry, feed, worry feed, look at watch. ..
and my POS car is on a truck getting hauled. DPT dillweed is still typing on it's evil little machine-stuffing-envelope-with-the-bill.

This is when I realize how stupid driving down town was. It's 3:03PM.
Tow-away-everything-not-moving-O'clock
DPT gives me my car back after a little whine and the cute girl I was with batted eyelashes a couple of times.
It smiles and notes I was still getting the ticket, with the car back. $70. for 3 minutes.

In the garage, my stupidity continued. Upon returning I notice I'd been 1 hour and 15 minutes.
59 minutes, $2.50
1 to 4 hours $9.00  laughingdp  what a racket.

Free motorcycle parking in back.

At least your bike didn't get wet, I heard Ducati's rust instantly rain water hits any metal surface.

Now if you let your oil leak(s) get bad enough, there's gonna be a fine film covering all metal parts, so you don't have to worry about the rust.  There's a benefit to being a slacker mechanic.   cheeky

Go ahead lay it on.

I put 7150 miles on my bike in the last 10 months. I take one day off. This is what I get.  laughingdp

Join the ranks of nearly everyone living in SF.  Few things are scarier to me than the non-car-owning Marina girl or Mission boy renting a ZipCar to take their friends out of town for the weekend.  Shocked

Desmostro, you're preachin' to the choir here. I have to fight SF traffic in a cage all day 5 days a week. Try finding a parking spot--not during street cleaning--around USF or Pac Heights. Quite the nightmare.

Yeah, but your legend doesn't extend to the SFPD's daily watch list...
