i was never into CF on the monsters. no offense to people with CFed out bikes, they all look amazing,

but in my experience all CF exposed to the elements will look like crap in a year or two.
Even a 999 i saw at the dealer (salesmans bike with CF body panels) looked like garbage in the places it was exposed

i went through a 'CF phase' with my car, and regret every peice i bought except for one (and subsequently replaced everything CF)

to each their own of course, i will continue to admire people who can keep up with the maintenence or replacement of CF panels on their bikes, but me? ill be painting all CF parts. (cans are the exception to the rule)

- i should mention there is little sexier than a brand new dark weave panel in the rain at night lit by streetlamps! yeah! but on the otherside there is nothing UGLIER than yellowed out panels
