When DucatiMonster.org first started, I was number 10 on the membership list.  It looks like I'm about number 180 here.  It feels like I'm in the back of a long line or something.

The e-mail invite didn't explain anything.  I guess I'll snoop around for a while and try to figure out what the purpose of this forum is.

I couldn't make a second post yesterday for some unknown reason.

This is the Monster that I purchased new in September of 1997 and rode for six years until I crashed it due to a tankslapper in October of 2003.  The one behind it was also mine (and my son's) for a few months, but I sold it to a neighbor after my son failed to keep his grades up and a few other things on the list of requirements for motorcycle ownership.

This is what I was left with after the wreck.  I parted it out, helping more than a dozen other Monster owners with needed parts.

A month or two after the wreck I purchased this ST2 as a "Temporary Ride" until I could find the right Monster.  After taking test rides on at least eight candidate Monsters, I figured out that I really prefer riding the ST2.  I plan to ride it until it dies.

Finally, I've always loved the 888 Superbike and when this one became available when I had enough money, I bought it.  It's such a beautiful bike, and always gets the adrenaline flowing when I ride it.
