Just to let you know Amy and I have just bought a house.   applause Vino!

It is on Bryn Mawr Drive, just off the Tollway and Lovers. An old lady lived there before and it has not been touched for a few years so we will be busy decorating over the next few weeks before we move in, we have a month left on the flat so we have a bit of time.

It has a pool and a nice garden, the pool needs cleaning and the garden needs a lot of work but it's going to be fun getting it how we want it.

Congrats on your new home. Nice area too. Better get to work on that garden before it gets too hot.  Grin

Thanks for all the nice comments, it's good to be here.

sweet, when's the pool cleaning party?

All weekend and every evening for a few weeks /months, there is also painting and the associated prep and it looks like I might have to rewire as there is no ground in the power outlets.  bang head

waytogo Congratulation A & A !!  Vino!   That is a great area and this is a very good time to buy a house, over time it will be an investment that you will be very happy you made.

I have a good bit of experience with changing filter systems on pools & have a lot of carpentry, electrical, & plumbing tools YOU may borrow if you need them.  So if you do just ask !

Celebration is one of our favorite restaurants & is in that area but there are a lot of them around there!

Depending on how your luck runs ( not sayin' whether good or bad luck  Lips Sealed ) you may see Ex-President Bush around the area, since his new home is not far from there.

Anyway let us know when you get in and we will bring you a housewarming house plant ( we have quite a few babies this year !!).  Cyclonette & I wish you many years of comfort & pleasure in your new home !!   chug

Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe.
