To a 2002 Super sport.

First order of business, new home made, custom, carbon fiber gas tank.

Our story begins with me sanding and shaving a 20x28x10" block of Styrofoam to the width of the frame.

This took six hours  :P  My hot wire and knife are on order, but I wasn't waiting.

The results of today's efforts.

I then decided to tape up the side profile of the new tank.

The garage after the days work.

On a more serious note, the importance of safety gear when doing this kind of work is enormous. You do not want this dust in your eves or lungs, the following pictures show the fine powder put off.

Last thing was to clean the garage before monstergf gits home and kills me.

Add another hour.

Further updates in a week or two, I dont know when the new tools arrive, and I have west coast dimby next week.  ;D

Have a good weekend and remember, Safety First!
