Locals get first crack at it. In a week I'll be putting this on the main board.

I just switched tanks on my Monster so I'm selling the original. It's the steel tank off an '02 Monster Dark. I took everything off of it for my new tank, so it's just the tank. It's not dented and the inside is clean. I'll post photos later on today or tomorrow.

As for price, I'm open to offers. I'm not sure how much a clean tank goes for, since I only ever see people list dented ones.

A nice shiny red one. I always wanted a red monster. So now I have one. It was a NOS tank that I got on ebay.

The carbon tank I found was for a newer Monster and would have required me to pick up too many extra parts to get it to work (new fuel pump, etc), so I decided against it.

Let me rephrase that question because what he wants to know is, "where is that carbon tank right now?"

It was an ebay auction. So it could be just about anywhere on the planet—except on my Monster Sad.

You might be able to make it fit, but you'd be better off finding one that's designed for a carbed Monster (and the carbed ones are usually cheaper).
