False Neutral?

I tend to agree. It's not false, it's a real true neutral. There's a true neutral between every gear, it's just that between 1st and 2nd they're designed to be easier to access.

Seriously though, I just call it "a neutral".

As in "I was lazy with that upshift and caught a neutral between 3rd and 4th."
