Wasn't this what we had in mind when we first found out about OCC/Ducati?  The worst part is that this is just the beginning...

We disagree about the ability.

If they had it they would have used it.

edit:
Keep in mind I'm not referring to the skill of the people doing the work.

I'm talking about the people signing the checks

Potential ability is there.  Looking at their finished product, kinetic ability is the problem.

There's pics of just-uncrated streetfighters in that picasa album.  worth a look.

sheet metal and metal fabrication is what these guys are good at (IMO). They'd have to get busy with other mediums to trick out a Duc. I'd like to see more CNC (which they have the equipment for).  Fiberglass fabrication and layup would be cool.

I'd be interested in seeing what they could do to a Monster.  I'd like to see an old school Italian-supercar themed monster.  Think Ferrari GTO 250. Stitched leather seat? I might like that. Milled belt covers... cool.  Chrome spokes? maybe.  Chrome trim? would be different.  red w/white stripe and round white number plates. pods in the frame with frenched air intakes? my idea, but they can use it.  (I'd skip the Lucas electrics, though.  I've had that nightmare before.)  As long as they don't rake it and stretch it, I'd probably like what they made.

I like the show.  i think they're craftsmen, but I don't have a place in the foyer near my grand piano to park one of their bikes. (i don't think i'd want to ride most of what they make)

In general the black theme is great but thats all. They should be embarassed about the rear end of the poop bike. Rolland Sands they are not.

Theme bikes are lame. Like riding a cartoon. Spiderman bikes are overdone as it is. I don't get the connection between Spiderman and motorcycles. The OCC M1100 is douchebag style. That seat cowl is grotesque, screams cheap fiberglas. The Venom graphics look stupid on a bike like that. Big thumbs down, wouldn't be caught dead riding it. Looks like Jr. lost some weight.

First glance, the rear end looks like it belongs on a busa.

While not a fan of the "spiderman" theme, I like the clutch cover. It "seems" like some actual effort. And not just bolt on parts.

I'm hoping this is a "first attempt" and something quick so they could get it for the unveiling. Generally, I'm not a big fan of "theme" bikes either. Some ideas could work. And, with the introduction of Ducati to OCC, I would have thought they would have done a bit better on the merging of the 2 images. They have the resources to do some great work. But hey, I'm sure DP's 1st paint job wasn't on a 1098. Baby steps....

i agree, theme bikes suck balls.
between the last "monster challenge", and now OCC.........
i am unhappy with what DNA's marketing people are telling them about ducati riders.
