I think I'll put a dummy switch there and wait for the right moment ....... guy comes up to me and asks; what is it good for?
Put a switch to a fart machine with a time delay. When someone asks, push it, then wait about 5 seconds, then hear a faint fart, and give them a dirty look.  mitt |

I've seen this on many Ducatis, but never seen it being put to use. What's under there? Is it of any use on other models with the same controls? Can you think of anything to put there?   Guuuh Noobs Condom storage compartment. |

its my understanding that its for a switch that turns your lights on and off. however, most of us live in areas where it is illegal to operate your bike without your lights on.
Why nobody listens to silentbob? I put this on my S4R and it really helped it start easier. |

Yes, the wires are there but not used. You just plug the new switch into the factory harness. |

The stock US switchgear even has an obvious jumper wire on the connector.
