Might be because of ACE in Concord. It's only 25miles away. I think they have mileage limits so there's not too much competition between dealers.
Still, +1 on the clown comment.

Yeah, in talking to John, it sounded like DNA let him get all the way up to basically signing on the "X" and they backed out at the very last second.  I'm sure you're right though about ACE being in such close proximity.  Two stores that close would cannibalize each other.  Oh well, hopefully the Kymco scooter thing is working out for him instead.

I think that's a threat to the brand image. Most custom/modified Ducatis I've seen have been in line with the overall Ducati aesthetic. Letting the chopper guys bling these out is going to be very bad.  Undecided
