It's all day. I'm gonna be there around 9 (if I get a new tire before the weekend). I have to be at work at 2 so I will have to leave at 1.

Right now, my bike is not up to it. I may come down anyhow to check things out. Perhaps I can grab a ride with one of you as I will have no wheels. I can perform helpful tasks like beint the #2 on Ed's Roller Start Team.

Is this an all-day thing? What time do people show up?
Nic,
It starts at 8 AM and ends at sundown for the full day event or around 1 PM for the half day folks.
Either way you will have a ride since Pam will attend in the chase vehicle and she can drop you off anytime you want Grin
Since my 1098 is still out of commission I can't offer you my S4RS as a substitute but you would be perfectly welcome
to take her out on the track while I'm getting rested up or taking a breather Wink

Karl- thanks for the offer. I'll play it by ear. I will be very happy to see you all again and hear the sound of more than one bike.

Of course, my '01 here in NY makes the most beautiful sounds by itself (Termi's).

OK, I'm in! So many questions...

Does the track have shade or should I bring my 12x12 pop-up?

How 'bout electricity for tire warners & fans??

If nobody has room in ABQ for me Sunday night I can stay in Santa Fe.

Anyone want to do HH or dinner Monday night?

Bring a pop up if you want shade.  There isn't much to be had.  I'll need shade, as I intend to ride to the track, so who's bringing shade?

There is some electricity, but you have to be careful where you pit.  What do you need tire warmers for?  Running slicks?

What the hell is "HH".  I'll probably be game for a light meal (as I've already committed to a relatively heavy dinner Tuesday night for DucNight with Nic and whomever else decides to attend).

I'll bring the pop-up, plenty o' shade for all.

HH is the secret code for Happy Hour. A lite meal sounds good. I'll need sustenance before a 3 hour drive home waytogo

Dragon Supercorsas. I've had trouble with them heat-cycling/blueing in the past... Besides, I have brand new tire warmers & I want to use them! Grin

I'm running Dragon Supercorsa Pro on front and Pilots on rear...slide few knees...No issues, track is full of quick turns and it is nothing short of a saw blade (rough!!!)..You can cook an egg on the first lap! That being said, please bring the tire warmers and I'll snuggle through the premorning session! Grin

Have a guest room in Santa Fe...you are welcome...The BIG bulldog, lil. chewing "I don't know what I'm dog" and the BIG Oscar may manage to get along with the WILD YOU! waytogo

Just one more important detail...food
Since we are planning on spending a good amount of our time on the track
without having to worry about lunch details, Pam volunteered to bring food from
the feast days in Taos to keep our strength up.
Ed was kind enough to sample it for us in Taos and should be able to give
us a detailed culinary review. If anyone can bring an additional crock pot we should
have the capacity to feed the whole crowd. waytogo

Wow!.......

If Pam is bringing food from the Taos Feast Day, my advice is to look for her car, then immediately pit and turn off your motor.  You are about to enter culinary heaven!   bow down

Pam and her family can cook up a storm.  If you ever get the chance to meet them, you are in for a rare treat.  They not only cook like queens but are also great fun to talk to.

For details, see me in the pit area as I stand on my truck and use my binoculars to look for Pam's car coming over the horizon!.....   Shocked

Hey Scott I haven't seen the forecast but it is so dry here the rain usually evaporates before it hits the ground

I got my tire on Friday and the bike is in the truck. I will be there around 8ish. Steve from MotoAuthority says he'll be there too. He told me that last week but he ended up dirt riding Sun. and being too tired Mon. to come. My buddy from base just got an 1198 will be there minus the 1198. He has a speed triple and will probably be on that.

See ya'll there.  [moto]
