Ladies and germs, I'm helping (yes I know it's a stretch) with getting some volunteers to work Ducati Island. They need some help in gear check, hospitality and the Ducati museum. Shifts run for about 3 1/3 hours, but if you volunteer for at least 2 shifts, you get a 3 day general admission ticket. I've worked in gear check in Daytona and hospitality at Indy. It's super easy and the people are super nice. If you were on the fence about to Laguna, this might be the best opportunity for you. If I had money for the flight I would be there in a second, my brother is currently station in Monterey and my dad lives north of Berkley, but unfortunately I will not be able to make it this year. Please let me know if you're interested by posting on this thread. I will ask what info they need so that you can PM me. Thanks for the help!

You guys can post here if you're interested. I will PM you the email address to contact. Thanks to the people that have already volunteered. FYI, volunteers are the only way that Ducati can present what I consider one of the best experiences during these weekends. I've walked around enough to be confident in saying that they treat us right.

How did Vicky get a hold of a FL persoon to organize this?!?  Strange, but thanks for taking the laboring oar.  And while I'm sure she's already contacted johnc (you can PM him on the DMF if you want to reach him), remind her anyway.  He'll (a) get the word out locally and (b) get bodies.

Make sure to post up in the MOB section and the SoCal section.  Lots of attendees from both, many of whom have worked Ducati Island in the past.

She actually sent an email this morning to people that have previously helped out regardless of the region. I presumed that she had already contacted the local clubs if she was requesting volunteers. You never know how many people might decide to fly in from other regions, so I thought it would help to post. Considering that this is more than 2 months away, I guess she's trying to cover the basics early. Other than MOB and SoCal, is there any other sections I should post in, like Nevada, Arizona or Oregon groups?
