Peter Bonner and I are planning to ride to Tooele for this race if anybody is interested in tagging along.  We plan to leave Friday morning and ride back Monday.

The only catch is you'll have to stop every 80 miles of so, as that's all we can go on a tank.

I don't know if anyone is planning to go to Utah, but the link above won't take you all the way through the transaction (at least at this exact point in time).  I called Miller Motorsports Park to figure  out how to order the tickets and they have someone looking at the link and all that.  I just went ahead and ordered my tickets by phone.  The number is 435-277-8625.

When you click on the link it takes you to MMS where it asks for either the email address the group offer was created for or the code word which is Miller.  So you put in Miller and it takes you to the next page where it congratulates you for getting the code word right.  Then it asks you again for the email address the group offer was created for AND the password.  I used the email you sent me in the pm and miller and it said it was an invalid combination.  So I send Vicki an email at the address you gave me and it came back unknown.  Hers was the same address as the one you gave me for the offer.   Chris, at MMS, said they would check into it, but since there are only a couple days left on that offer (supposedly) I just went ahead and did it by phone.  All I cared about was making sure my seat is in the Ducati section, but it did go in under the Ducati offer and the tickets will be sent to me here in the Springs.  That's as clear as I can make it.  No big deal and hopefully they have it fixed now.  I tried it every possible way before calling them.

Miller SBK 2010  May 29-31

Update: I'm looking at the 2010 calender. wouldn't that be 28-30?

I recieved this from Vicki Smith, head of Ducati Owners Club North America:

I am looking into reserving some rooms at a central hotel in Salt Lake City and having a dinner one night, similar to what we do at Indy.  I need to get some feel for the number of rooms and a head count for dinner.

  Please respond with:

 The number of people total

The number of rooms

The number of people interested in dinner

I don’t know costs yet but the hotel being considered is a pretty decent chain hotel and the dinner would probably be bar-b-que at the hotel or if not that then something like what we did last year at the brew pub.  There would be secure parking for bikes as well as cars, trucks and trailers.

Vicki

For all of you planning on coming back Monday, Monday is race day according to the web site.  It goes from the 29th to the 31st (Memorial Day holiday).

OK.   I'm heading to WSBK this year.  Missed last year, not this one.   I'll be heading up on Sunday (30th), Race day on Monday (31st).  Back to Albuquerque on the Tuesday (6/1).  I got a room with 2 queen beds at Days Inn on I-15 just south of the I-215 interchange.  If anyone heading there wants to split the room cost they are more than welcome.  Your cost, $55 for the two nights.

I haven't heard of anyone else planning to make the trip yet.  I know it's still early but room may get more expensive as it gets closer.

Now that I know I'm going, I want May here   .  .  .   NOW!!   Skip April.    [moto] [moto] [moto]

I'll go if you will pay for my gas and entry tickets, as well.  C'mon!  It'll be fun, like old times!!!  Actually, if I have a job by then, but I can get the days off, I am planning to go, believe me.  That's alot of if's though.  Still, fun to dream and what else would get a girl through?
