try to keep in mind that you don't need to attend every argument you feel you're invited to

the price of admission is usually free

but the cost of staying there can get emotionally/psychologically expensive

and the enjoyment factor usually ends up rivaling being trapped in a room

with Vacation Timeshare pressure sale-closers
