Ciao Fellow Ducati riders!

I'll be making my first trip to Oz this week and am finally coming up for some air after being snowed under with work.  Unfortunately, this means that I haven't had a chance to do any research on rides outside of Sydney and Brisbane (other than Desmoquattro, a fellow Ducati MOB rider, teasing me with a picture of this of Katoomba... http://tinyurl.com/comu5u)

Just thought I'd post up here to see if anyone feels like a ride on May 7th in Sydney or May 11th in Brisbane?

I'm so honored that I'm being lent a bike to ride to see your beautiful countryside in both Sydney and Brisbane.  bow down  Mostro900 is lending me his Monster in Sydney and I'm planning on taking her out for a ride on Thursday, May 7th, sometime in the AM.  In Brisbane, I've got to thank Bribieduc and will be taking his Monster for a little discovery on Monday, May 11th in the AM.  I'd love the company and well, really just having the security of riding behind someone that would know the roads better than me!  waytogo [moto]

Hope to meet you all on Thursday, May 7th at the Sydney meet!  chug Vino!

Will be there. I've suggested that we could do the route we took with Desmoquattro or to head south and do Macquarie's Pass.  Anyone else 'free' on Thursday for a wee ride around Sydney somewhere ?

Could only come out in the afternoon.
Working in the morning 10am until about 12-ish.

If the timing changes let me know and I'll be in it for sure.

Since I'm at the mercy of mostro900, I will let him decide on the ride schedule...

I could do _either_ morning or late afternoon, but I can't take _all_ day off right now - I could ride in the morning and get to work round 12-ish, or get to work a bit early and leave at 2-ish.

I assume we'll be meeting up at Bar Italia that evening as well?

Road Report re. "...or to head south and do Macquarie's Pass..."

Don't know if you guys have been down there recently but I took a quick run last Sat. morning.

The road through RNP is being repaired with some gravel sections south of Audley weir - no big deal except there were some signs about road closures at certain times. If you are going that way check at the Park entrance for a road closure. If there is, its still good because if you head south and come in at Waterfall all work has been completed in that section. The run down the hill from Waterfall (esp.) & the road south to Stanwell Tops are now much improved.

The really good news is that MP has been re-surfaced from the bottom to almost the top & is really smoooooth  Smiley

Don't know what's happening in NSW but are we finally spending some money on our favourite roads?  bow down

Have a great ride everyone.
