That is all...
Red Dog is sleeping soundly in my garage tonight.  Gonna go put a few miles on her tomorrow!  Again Thank you Nic! Throwing a leg over took me back 8 or 9 years back to when I had my M750 (2001)  It may get a coat of wax (or two) While sleeping over.

It makes me very happy that the bike's getting ridden instead of gathering dust in my shed. And ridden better that I ever could.

Use her as long as you wish, Wayne. She's got up-to-date tags & insurance, and I myself will probably be not be back in ABQ until after the summer. (One, it's too hot there in the summer and, two, summer is the most enjoyable time to be here in the Northeast.)

In the meantime, I can content myself with riding stoplight-to-stoplight on my '01.
Nobody said that I did. Everyone says that I would.

A million thanks to Jim D. Aka Red Gloves for hauling my stranded ass and the old beater Jawa from  I40 home.... [clap] [bow_down]

The bike ran fine to Santa Fe...took it because I missed the train...ran fine through S14...I enjoyed the curves and brake less lines...and right at Wyoming exit on I40..it decided to snap shut in front of two Semis at about 70mph! I held the clutch and used the momentum to steer off to exit...never started after that! My phone was almost dead...called Karl, Ed, Stu and Jim...Thanks all! Wont take the beater to Santa fe again.Sorry!!!
Ride forever...

Thanks Larry! There is an emotional side to my beater...agree the Honda is several times a better bike.

Thanks again Nick... Gave the ol girl a couple hundred miles of good fun riding.  Tried to leave me stranded a couple times.  Stu and I, I think got that figured out though.  I do appreciate you letting me ride it.  I may have to pick it up again later on this summer for a couple days..   [beer]

Wayne- hope you enjoyed the old gal. Sorry to hear she got cranky. Take her out anytime.

And thanks to Stew for taking good care of her in the nursing home.

Steering head bearings for 'Betty' arrive tomorrow.  ;D

Soon, she'll be on wheels & a side-stand.  [evil] [evil] [evil]

('Betty' as she is now known, used to be 'Ugly Betty' but she's now looking a bit better, so I dropped the 'Ugly'.  It's my '99 SS1000i.e. project I'm screwing together...)
