I just want to vent for a second.

To the pussy ass douche nozzel who continually shows up at my small gym, moves weights around without putting them back where he found them, then does his pussy ass cardio workout while reading Redbook magazine and watching Oprah on volume10,  screw you.  You dropped my testosterone levels by 20x for the second time in a row.  [anyone who is able to read ANYTHING while doing 'cardio', isnt working out]

Put your make the beast with two backsin 20lb pussy ass weights back and put some Korn or NIN on the stereo and maybe you might lose that 40lb gut and the women might stop staring at your hair plugs.  You jack ass wuss bag excuse of a male.  Oh, and the pink and gray wife beater does nothing to show off your 12 year old girl arms.  You ask to 'jump in' on my bench and dont have the common courtesy to put the weight back to where you found it (somewhere above your wuss ass sweating to the oldies levels]

You arent fat because hit 40.  You are fat because your wife bronzed your nutsack and wears it as jewelry.

ok, back to your normal programming kids.   Sorry, I hate being distracted when I just want to work off a bad day.

I feel much better.   and y'all are cheaper than therapy.  waytogo

....and how does that make you feel???  This is a prime reason why I have my weights and treadmill at home.

Now I just feel worthless.  I almost reported you to a moderator, but then I realized I'd just be reporting you to yourself.  You're mean.   Embarrassed  You're mean, and you're heartless.     Cry  You're mean, heartless, and yet ...... still funny ...... in a mean, heartless sorta way.

Hey.... wait a minute .... what's that funny feeling inside?  I think I love you.

How do you feel about overweight 40-something married men?  I'm not fat because my wife bronzed my nutsack and wears it as jewelry, though.  I'm fat because I'm a lazy Git who works at a sedentary job, and who can't find the motivation to do cardio whilst reading Oscar Wilde.  Damn.  Now I'm feeling worthless again.   Cry  Does anybody have a tissue?

Hey, King, wanna do some cardio?  Richard Simmons is coming over later!

Sweet.  You can leave my "weights" scattered where ever you like!!   Wink  I'll be in the purple leotard and tutu.  If I remember correctly they're the same shade of purple as your shorts.  waytogo

Now, back to the real world.  I think I've heard that you know something about bicycles.  I'd like to buy a road bike just to putter about on to get some cardio without the bone jarring impact inherent in all of the activities I really like.  My joints are horrible and the only thing I've found that I can do and somewhat enjoy is spinning, but I think proper cycling would be much better because I wouldn't have to sit inside a room with a bunch of picky fanatics (like DDGM? Shocked).  Where should I start?  Who makes a bicycle with a book holder on the bars (to hold my copy of "The Picture of Dorian Gray") and a tissue dispenser (to wipe away my tears of shame)?  What local shop is the best to deal with?  Steel, Aluminum, CF or Ti?  Shimano or Campagnolo?  Red or black (or Chartreuse)?  Where's the best bang for the buck.  This will NEVER be used competitively, but I'd like something robust that will tolerate a large operator in reasonable comfort, and with good reliability and smooth operation.

Anything come to mind?  Does anybody locally sell preowned (we used to call this condition "used", but retailers have removed that term from our lexicon)?  I researched this a few years ago and kinda decided on a Bianchi or Specialized with Shimano 105 or better gear, but I'm sure lots has changed since then.

All help is greatly appreciated.

Well, the turnout for the gallery opening was fantastic!  There were well over 200 people who made it out over the course of the evening and many were Duc riders.  Most we knew and some we just met that night.  Thanks to all (including Cloner, Zaster, Pam, HunkyPunk, Meg, and our very own artists, Goduc and Scottish) who made it.  It was fun and soooo appreciated.  You all rock!!   bow down  applause  applause

KB with Lotions and Potions lady, Brandie:

Zaster and Pam looking very dapper right out front.  It was a gorgeous evening:

DJ Jazzie Jimmy B doin' the spin for our listening pleasure:

Goduc's first sale:

Scottish, daughter Alyssa, HP, Meg and Drea enjoy some rare face time:

Cloner and Goduc enjoying the art and the crowd:

Can't wait to see the rest of you here as well.   Smiley

Believe me, I'd have gladly hopped in the back with those two beautiful Ducs and hitched a ride.  Even if I had to share space with DDGM, I'd have done it.  I had to work last night and tonight or I would have tried to hook up with you guys, too.  I knew you were high-tailing it to the hood.  I am planning a trip down there next week though and I plan to drop in on the gallery plus catch Ducnight on my birthday.  What better a present than to catch up with my homies and meet the new crew members?   waytogo
