Someone sent me this via email. I believe I saw a little Monster hiding in one of these monster garages about 2/3's of the way through.

Yup, I was feeling alittle bit out of my element until I saw that little guy tucked in there.

In my opinion, it was the crowning jewel. I think it would have been stunning if that pictorial had featured a little Duc cameo appearance in each shot.

I used to do finish work in high end homes. I'm talking elevators, grand entry staircases, two story libraries, theaters the whole nine. I saw garages with more work than the fanciest of homes I ever worked in. It makes me envious and I wish I had something like that in my resume'.

Chris said you have a standing invite anytime you want to go back to work for his company. And you are more than welcome to start work on the attic if you want to brush up on your renovation skills. You want to switch residences again?

WARNING!!! If you are uncomfortable with the F word...or any cuss words, skip this one.
But, if you get South Park & understand that anyone from Jesus to Satin is fair game, this is great! And yes, I love all bikes...even these
20 min. Sit back and enjoy.
Scroll down to the bottom left. Season 13: "The F word" (I can't load it on it's own...sorry, but it's worth it)

I rode 36 miles each way yesterday to a client in Howard Beach, Queens (for you auslanders, that's a neighborhood just west of JFK airport, mostly known as the home grounds of the late John Gotti). Weather was OK- cloudy, in the 60's.
I was moving with and through parkway traffic at about 60 mph, I got to thinking about the skill set it takes to ride in such traffic and how those skills are little used when I'm in Albuquerque. It is such a different experience.
Aside from the pleasure of just riding anytime, I generally do not ride for the simple fun of it. My motorcycle is my primary means of commuting when I have to go to a client's office in the area (weather permitting, of course). I have spent lots of time in rush hour, stop-and-go jams. I ride into New York city, New Jersey, upstate NY and Connecticut.
A strange contrast from my rides up the Crest with Zaster, Cloner, JJ and Kawboy last month.
Just sayin'...

I grew up in Western Connecticut. I hope you got a chance to see the leaves this year, but from what I hear, the season wasn't that great. Still, riding Route 7 to the Canada border is a fantastic ride.

Nothing wrong with doing what makes you enjoy riding your motorcycle. Being from Europe, I hate being caught up in traffic and putting up with the rush hour stuff. Riding in Albuquerque is a totally different experience since drivers don't have to hone their skills on a daily basis like they would in Europe or your neck of the woods.
I prefer to avoid the city traffic on my bike due to lack of other drivers awareness.

Some news: Barbara and I made a whirlwind trip to the Ft Myers/Cape Coral area of Florida: Left the house 4AM Friday, returned 11PM Saturday. We looked at a bunch of condos and made an offer on a foreclosure in downtown Cape Coral. Needs some work, but we're getting it cheap. Nice location- right on a canal with access to the Caloosahatchie River and the Gulf. Only 7 units in the complex and a big plus is that it comes with an actual garage.
While I was there I got to see my '97 H-D Superglide. Didn't get to ride it, but it's in good shape. A friend with whom I do business keeps it at his shop and rides it from time-to-time. My plan is to eventually sell it and buy- guess what- another Duc.
So, any of you need a place to spend a little time on the West Coast of Florida, you will have a place to crash. Of course, the riding is flat and crowded, but there are beaches and salt water and palm trees.
Anyway, looking forward to being back in ABQ in less than a month.
