Very nice writeup!  I must agree that the Ducatista are a different breed than most other motorcyclists out there!  I dont know about the attraction to red paint however..   Grin

Wow- nice blog post, Cloner.

And that leads to add another observation about the Ducati community, and this group in particular: Most members express themselves very well. There's lots of wit and style in the writing of posts. Scott's blog post certainly exemplifies this.

Sometimes this board it just entertaining reading: I spend hours one evening reading the entire thread of El Matador and Demolu's Excellent Adventure.  I enjoy the back and forth between Bonfy and... And just about anybody else... The expressions of support for Scottish while he went through a tough time.

Hell, I read this board so much that I even understand DucMouse's disjointed posts.

I've been doing online communities for 16 years, and this is by far the most comfortable to be a part of.

Sadly...my plans to relocate to New Mexico have fallen through.  I had been in contact with several peeps here about potential rooms to let, jobs, etc...  and it looked pretty promising, but the word came down and it's a 'no' for right now.

Ok...maybe things have changed.  Will keep you hooligan-types posted with developments...
