there are alot of scary old people that can not drive

You haven't experienced sharing the road with squadrons of older people until you ride in Florida.

Old is relative anyway, depending on your physical condition. I think I'm an OK rider- have actually gotten better in the last few years- and I'm 66. And, I believe Ed, who is an excellent rider, is actually a little older than I am.

The traffic thing means there are more cars and trucks on the roads and, as a result, more morons.

but i don't count any of you guys as "old". Like you said it's relative...

You all are excellent riders, which to me means that it take more of your attention to do that...which in turn would make you a good vehicle operater  waytogo

one day I will make it FL and i'll get back to you on that one  laughingdp

Glad to hear you dodged the bullet this time, mouse  waytogo

And as far as city riding goes, 8 yrs in LA & I still love riding there. ABQ is rediculous.  bang head

Nic is on the money about Florida (All of it). that coupled with the fact the only turns are 4 way stops, and the only hills are over passes. The place sucks for anything on 2 wheels.

Not quite, KB: Guys in my age group love their H-D Barca-cruisers and nothing suits their riding style better than  straight and flat.

I sold my Superglide last winter. It wasn't my style- no cup holders.

Best response of all time, Nic.  And that's coming from a non brand hater.
...wait! Not true. BMW.

Wait again. BMW riders (Greg being exempt & any of you I haven't met yet here on the forum that will stoop to our level) not the bikes.

As long as you are man enough to ride a S4RS with a new front shoe, new fork seals and a recent 15k service you are welcome to run her up to Ouray and back Grin

Hey, Stew- You could always take an air-cooled, 2v, carbureted M900 for the trip. I'd have no problem with that.

Feels odd after 11 1/2 weeks to be leaving NV.

The project's NOT over, but there's a strong likelihood I won't be returning.

Say!  What's everyone doing this weekend?  Anything noteworthy going on?!?

Thanks for the offer Nic!  It looks like I'll be taking Karl's offer on the S4Rs, but I'll be sure to put a little  Dolph on Red Dog before leaving...  waytogo
