News for all: JJ took a slightly bored to performance Harley Sportster (affirmative)  1200~1300 for a spin along WV mountains...top speed just about 110...corner speed 70-80 with eyeballs in your mouth...red line tapping...pretty much every gear...overall I should say I was impressed by throttle response...torque could be more...mostly front loading on brakes were terrible...lowering handle bars significantly...or best clip ons...a bit adjustment to suspensions so rear doesnt lift when you brake..pulling pegs backwards...pulling back forks...etc etc would do it a huge favor...but hell I had some serious loud fun! Not buying one...dont go there...! Wink made up for my missed crest ride. waytogo

So a fire hydrant got busted on Lomas today, and as I was riding through the huge puddles that resulted all nice and slow to keep from getting wet, some jerkoff in an SUV blasted through it right past me, and covered me head to toe in mud.  Angry

I could regale you for hours with lurid tales of North Carolina & Barber, however my own sense of decency, & a sworn blood oath of secrecy, unfortunately prevent me from sharing details of the adventures of Tom, Jim, Scott One & L'Scott...

What happens in Barber, stays in Barber... laughingdp cheeky Grin

I'll try to post a gallery tonight.  It was everything I expected and then some.

More to follow, probably with a few selected photos here.

Don't worry, L'Scott....I won't tell 'em about the morning we found you and Rolland passed out in the hot tub with two Swedish hookers and a goat.  That would be uncivilized!

The goat was Tom's idea... I kept telling him "No, Tom, no goats! Get sheep!!" but he insisted...

Absof!ckinglutely put Barber on your calendar!!!

Just to clarify, the goat was NOT Swedish

I can't remember exactly if the sign of the higher evolution of man is co-habitating with goats or sheep.

I logged on before work this morning hoping for word of this safari. Having ridden through some of that part of the country last year, I think the rides there are as good as anywhere I've seen so far in the Southwest. Yes, Mouse, it would be a great thing to make a trip out of it for the Hooligans some time.
