Ok so now i need to put Alum tape inside of the housing to address brightness issues AND make a silicone mold to ensure the LED's won't fall out?!?!?!  At what point does it stop being a Clear Alternatives LED light and turn into a "Custom KSmithInNY LED light"?   Grin
You dont NEED to do anything to it, I just opted too "enhance" it before it went on my bike.

I've got the clear alternatives on mine with the smoke lense cover. I really like it and haven't had any problems - it's almost 3 yrs old now.

Not sure if thee are street legal in the US though.

I know this was an old post, but technically any integrated light that I've seen (whilst removing the stock indicators) is not legal in the US.

I know integrated only units will not pass my states (VA) safety inspection... in theory. Most corner service stations are not aware of the details regarding the minimum separation width between signals that's on the books. I know it's possible to get an inspection here with integrated tail lights, as long as you don't go to a Moto dealer. That being said... if you get pulled over and the LEO is aware of that detail, you're looking at a ticket.

Of course, in VA you can run sans any signals.

Any update on these, they shipping yet?

Is who sipping which/what?

I just installed my new brake light with integrated turn signals and I LOVE it.  It's much brighter than the stock brake light and cleans up the back end.  Plus the 3 flashes when I brake saves me from having to flash my brake light manually.

i dont care about night time, i want to see the motodynamics in daylight from various angles. The vizitech i can vouch for is AWESOME in the daylight, but the original models are no longer for sale and the new models carry a ballast thats make the beast with two backsing HUGE...not my thing... but at 300... are there even anymore left? If my insurance money comes in with excess, id buy it.

I have the above motodynamic also.  It's an awesome taillight for the money.  I really like the three brake light flashes.  The vizi tech is super expensive and has two screws through the lens.  It may be a better light but I can buy four motodynamics for the same price.
