there's a company that offers machined covers for the coffin style reservoirs for relatively cheap ~20-25 iirc, I need to get the website from my home computer though, so I'll post up later tonight for you

*edit*

actually, here you go, http://www.corsair-industries.com/  it looks like it's $60 for the pair, or you can get em from monsterparts.com (same ones) for $50  waytogo

OK, I'm confused now. I thought he was referring to the engine casing. Clutch reservoir cover or engine casing, which is broken?  Huh?

Oh, sorry, I didn't read close enough

hmm, can you post up a pic of the damage?  the clutch side cover doesn't particularly have anything special from year to year, but it's worth taking a look at the damage to see if a welder can fix it

You need mirrors too?  I think I still have the old mickey ears in the garage somewhere.  Your welcome to them if you want them.

I'm good on the mirrors thanks for asking though!  chug

A little update, I got the part off and had it taken to a machine shop and welded,  it's not as pretty as I thought it would be considering people were telling me this guy is the "best" welder in austin, but I painted it black with metalic flake and it consealed the injury pretty well and looks pretty good (I think anyway).  All I need is the brake lever and another bar-end mirror and I should be good to go.  One question though.... is there supposed to be some kind of gasket, or seal that goes between the clutch cover and engine?  There wasn't anthing in between when I took it off.  Thanks in advance guys!
