Alligator,

That is almost exactly what I am thinking of doing. I bought the 1100 last Sunday & won't have it until next week...I live in Hawaii and it has to ship from another island to me. I'm thinking of putting the 600 miles on and shipping it back to the dealer for the Termi exhaust install. I'm undecided yet on the 14t gear. I've read a lot about it, but figure to put some miles on and make may own decision.

I'd really like to hear how  you like the mods after the install.

Thanks

I scheduled the install for next Friday (5/15/09).  Just slip-on Termis, a 14 tooth sprocket, and my 600 mile tune-up.  I have a Ducati Performance tail chop kit (~$250) on my mind, but cash will be a little tight for a while.  Then I plan to change to a more comfortable seat.  After that, who knows???

I've ridden one without and one with slip-ons.  I'll say this, the 1100 has a kick with the Termis or maybe I was just excited.  For me, unless I'm tracking the bike the price is not worth the full system but on the same token, the ole'girl should be heard.

PLEASE let me know if you are happy with the slip-ons and the sprocket. Are you getting the ECU for the Termis?

on my s2r1000, termi system with mid pipe as well, dynoed at 95hp to the wheel. stock, it has 95hp to the crank, so i'd say it had a nice power gain

Yes, it comes with the ECU and high performance air filter change.
