I'm thinking of removing the plastics on my 696. Which means the emissions canister will have no where to hide.  My question is, what are my odds on being busted for this?  Is it something  Police is actually looking for?  Or will they mostly say "nice bike" and let me roll?

Figured i'd post this here in soCal because you know, this is where i ride, and where it's less than legal to do what i'd like to do.

Ducati Monster suite shows you how to do it. Easy if you take your time.

Thanks all, thinking of doing it when i install my oil cooler (whenever it shows up.)  One fell swoop kind of deal.  Make a day of it (and cleaning, chain lube, etc.)
