Well so much for the Job at a Ducati & Sea Doo dealership, they have decided to close down at the end of next month, To many bills piling up and not enough people walking through the door (worst time of the year to be selling Bikes or Jet Ski's) we all got told today they will be closing both stores down, I'm not angry or upset, it's been fun.

Some big Jet Ski dealers went under in Qld/NSW and now a heap of current model ski's have hit the market cheaper than the Boss can buy them for, and then with a recession, poor winter sales anyway.
plus the Ducati sales have just about stopped, They just sold a new Hypermotard for $15k on road (That was a struggle) and they have a new Multistrada for $17 on road, a S4R for about $4k off RRP including on roads, no one wants them.

It's been fun, but I might have to go out and get a real job now  vomit

but such is life  waytogo

Sorry to hear about your circumstances. Hope you can get yourself a replacement job quickly.

Ironic to hear the media and Govt continually crow how well we are doing. Seemingly in complete denial of the world collapsing around us.

Sorry to hear about you misfortune.  Like others have said your stories have been interesting.

It is serious if people arent buying quality products like Ducatis....  I could always do with a new Jet Ski or another Duke for the shed.  Maybe there will be some really good deals for cash!!!

Thanks for all the support Ladies and Gents, I have some good References from this place and my last job, and a lot of the electrical stores are advertising for staff, so it looks like I'll be back to the 7 day roster of Electrical retailing again, but such is life, at least it's a job.
and I've still got 5 to 6 weeks to find something I suppose.

I still reckon Society is to Blame  laughingdp

I do agree Society and the Media are always to blame.
If they stop talking about GFC and down turn people might just start to feel better.
I know you'll land on your feet, good people do.
