I will use 2 of my 3 votes: I spend most of my time in NY (Long Island) where I have my '01 M900. We have a 2nd home in Albuquerque and I shipped the '97 M900 there earlier this year.

I am about 2/3's East Coast, 1/3 Mountain Time Zone.

I offer a pictorial review:

San Francisco is by no means a perfect place. "Summer" comes, if we're lucky, in September, October and the first 2 weeks of February after you've frozen your arse off all December through  July.  Huh?  ("freezing" = 55F and foggy)
Parking costs what some people pay in rent; rent for a 500 SQ' flat is what some people pay for house with 3 car garage.
It's sometimes hard to tell the gender of someone your talking to on the bus, and its next to crazy trying to find someone who agrees on the politics of any subject. For this reason, we are home to the homeless, holding many thousands of wondering souls that no one seems to know what to do with.

That said there are more Ducati here than anywhere else outside Italy, and that's saying something. (this poll may prove otherwise...) There are endless spectacular rides around the coast and inland. It comes down to that.

Our holidays include thousands naked and or costumed running through the streets in July, "Bay to Breakers Run"

and the first week of Sept. what seems like 20% of the city leaves for the deep desert to join 70,000 others also naked and or in costume to watch a human edifice, made of wood burn, party like there's no tomorrow and build indescribable and awe inspiring  sculpture/architecture and vehicles, usually of massive proportions.
 - Google : "BURNING MAN" to see more -

chocolate mud wresting 1
(this may have been at my house)

Do you see a pattern here?
It would appear we like to dress up IF we get dressed at all and party, and ride Ducati a lot around here.
Sometimes we ride around with no undies downtown just to stop traffic.
