Im mounting my clip ons tomorrow and maybe getting some paint/decals the day after so I photochopped my mock up.

this was the only stock s2R 800 dark picture I could find so picture this with a full arrow exhaust and 999 front calipers.

Ill update this thread as things get done.

Why does it have a website on the exhaust heat shield?

I know there was a classic Ducati symbol that used the wings like that but for some reason every time I see it I think Honda. Funny how the oil sight looks yellow. What's the red thing under the tank? Throttle?

The banner belongs to the site I stood the stock photo from and the red under the tank is the throttle cam

That's a great idea.  I just tied to do the same thing but cannot find a stock photo that is the same color as my bike... but I did find one that is my bike (same model, color) but with the pipes I want on it.  At least I can better picture in my mind's eye now what she's going to look like once I done.  I am debating on tangerine rim tape right now.  I'm thinking I should just keep it as simple as I can and just black, black, black.

Good job on the mock up! waytogo

Looks cool.  In-my-not-so-humble-opinion, I think the logo ought to be level with the ground, though.  Looking forward to pictures of the real thing.

+1 on leveling the tank logo, it fights with the line of the frame a little. Looks awesome otherwise! I love the use of the old ducati badging. I just picked up a set of late 60's aluminum wings with the ducati script for mine. They might go back on ebay because now they remind me of honda wings. Thanks a lot erkishhorde!! laughingdp

heres what it looks like with the logo straight. I dont like it because it doesnt follow any lines of the bike. angled the way I had it originally follows the line of the top of the tank and together with the frame they both come to a point at the headlight.

Yep, I see your rationale.  I think it's cool you considered the alternative and your design is reasoned out rather than an accident.

How about a red spring?  The yellow never bothered me, but on your design red might be a nice touch.  Black would look good too, I think.
