I think my T-Mobile got signal there when I was helping you guys move in. I'll have to test it next time.
Did you guys get a land line at the house?

Yes, we have a landline, that's our only connection to the outside world (besides the sometimes flakey satellite internet).   There's extremely faint (unusable) Verizon signal on the way to Pescadero, but you can't really use a phone until Pescadero (Verizon) or highway 1 (AT&T), going the other direction AT&T kicks in about halfway down on 84 between Alice's and Woodside.

I recall doing SMS, but I was busy trying to jury rig my radiator hose so I could make it home. My memory may be IZ_ Grin

Text messages use the phone's control channel, not the voice channel.  Basically the same channel that tells you your signal strength is the same channel delivering and receiving SMS.  The real test is voice. Smiley

Did anyone do this ride? I was up there (but didn't show up at the start point) and saw 3 Monsters on Skyline. I had my red textile jacket on. It has 3 white stripes on both arms. I saw a yellow Monster at Alice's also.

Ok on the Saturday ride thing BUT... it's difficult for me to keep up with all the forum stuff. It'd be great if you could post something here or in the Women's section.. ya you're allowed in there just for posting Smiley no lurking or I'll have to chain your rear wheel to a lamp post.

You can always email me directly to let me know. I don't live on the internet... well I use it for my business but using it daily for social purposes just feels... irresponsible. Kinda like riding in the rain and cold conditions lol. Just kidding on irresponsibility... I guess we learn by example.
