I didn't think you did say it mate, just concerned because there's a lot of upgrading going on and not a lot of training. Again, not talking about you specifically. Seems to be a bit of the me too factor (again, not you). I'm hoping my next bike will be an RC4, no, not an RC8. Wink

I understand exactly what your saying its a common thing for people to upgrade without the proper experience.  Case in point my lil brother had been riding for all of less than a year and went ninja250, ninja 650R and then an 08 Honda cbr600rr.  Which i personally felt was a huge jump in just one year.

Just saw the RC4 thats sick looking it looks like an F22 Raptor, it looks like it would be invisible to radar Evil

Truth be told... I kinda miss wringing the little bike. It was lighter and a tad easier on your body. For my favorite kinds of roads (2nd/3rd gear twistys), any 600 or so sized bike will do, in fact I plan getting one next year or so.

Granted, my RC is a bonafide pig and I enjoy the power and torque, but I wouldn't say that I'm going any faster than I did on the little bike... well maybe a little faster but I chalk that up to improved skills rather than horsepower.

Most folks never ride their bikes to 10/10ths and the only place one would ever see the true potential of a liter bike would be riding very very fast on a track.

A skilled rider on a 600 will drop the average rider on a liter bike any old day of the week IMO, except on the slab but it doesn't take much skill to twist a throttle.

I really like the R6 but the fact it doesnt come with a steering damper makes me kind of upset.  Hopefully next years model?

Baaa, I'm not looking to buy new, I don't believe in that anymore. I'm gonna look for a track bike in good shape, decently low mileage and a clean title. Track bikes are usually already modded for the better and pretty cheap to convert back to street. My old 749, Cru's RC, and Pat's Gixxer will attest to that. Wink

After playing paintball with a automag then Angel for years when i went to a DM4 the paint to kill ratio was 10times better.

I probably wont be playing much this summer because of the new bike lol.  However my new favorite place is high velocity outdoor i think its located in coram right near cousins paintball outdoor.  The high velocity indoor is fun too but a lot more fast paced.  Its a speedball setup.  Their outdoor has like bombed out helicopters/humvees and all sorts of cool stuff!
